Maybe you are a bit wrong ;) casino's use real money. Stock markets don't. It's lots of money that just isn't there. It's all made up. If you have 5 million shares of $1 it looks like you have 5 million. Try to sell them at once to become that millionair, there is suddenlyy too much for sale, price drops and they become worthless.
Just go for it. You usually are way better than you think! And it sounds like the rest has even less of a clue. Just give it your best and document your work and decisions (+ motitavion why you choose what you choose !!!). That way you add to you're own confidence and are able to review an explain what happened and why.

Autumn by far. Nature has much more variation in weather an colors. Also in general not to hot to do anything, yet not to cold you need extra clothing.
I am, and I do the same following my mom's example. She moved in a new house....First year her neighbors looked displeased at her garden. The second year they asked her why she never maintained it. The third year everyone stood at the borders pointing out plants the had not seen in town for ages. It's truly amazing the things you see in your garden. Also each year has become more diverse. Yes, September mowing isn't always fun, but it's SO worth it!!!
