Your Phone Isn’t Eavesdropping on You to Show You Ads (It’s Worse Than That)
Poilievre ‘only aware of two’ genders but government should mind its own business
US President-elect Donald Trump says a ceasefire deal has been reached in Gaza.
Can you provide a source? I'm curious to read more.
having talked to some, they seem to want trans people detransitioned. Which is somehow more disgusting.
define 'their biology'
I wonder if she'd just had rhinoplasty. A friend of mine is in recovery from that; she has to do this kind of sinus irrigation thing twice a day.
Is this a real photo?
I didn't know that! Definitely did not mean it as "jew it"!! This was just the first version of the meme I found, I always thought of it as "do it."
Men don't like to be judged for how other men are, even if they're guilty of the same things. I think it's this kind of "god I hate men" mentality feminism is unfortunately associated with which they react to and causes them to close their ears to the feminist Good News.
If somebody came to you with "god I hate women," would you really want to keep listening as they go on to talk about how women should talk less when men are around? Me neither. And yet, getting men to stop talking over women is an important goal, but it's a hard pill for them to swallow. If you want to convince men to be better, speak their language.
I would hope they are thinking more about how more men than women are murdered, if they are thinking at all about the subject. There are of course differences between VaW and VaM on a societal scale.
Don't know a lot of woman incels these days (though I'm aware the community was founded by a woman). Curious about what lead you to inceldom.
I've never encountered an Iranian refugee before, just normal expats.
Crazy. Iran has some really good researchers, at least, I've been consistently impressed by Iranian academics abroad.
That would mean every driver on the highway is driving recklessly.
"yes! Now you see how carbrained society is"
counterpoint: society is to blame, not individual drivers.
I don't really agree that it's close to all men who let misogynistic behaviour slide. My point is that it's enough bad men (where "bad" includes "letting that behaviour slide") that it's still a problem for women.
right, but you can only tell what's used as a verb after you've parsed it.
ok, just so long as the articles themselves aren't AI generated.
They accidentally included 8 verbs. (tax, filing, is, trying, kill, got, open, sourced)
This doesn't happen to me much, but it happens to other women I know. I have a lot of male friends and I've talked to them over the years about their perspective on feminism, and what makes them say things critical of feminism. A lot of it comes down to a misunderstandings -- take for instance the conflation between patriarchy (of a system) and sexism (of an individual). Or "#notallmen" -- as women we don't really care that it's #notallmen
, the fact of the matter is that because it's enough men, it's #yesallwomen
; whereas to men this sounds like an accusation.
Of course, there's some things that aren't about miscommunications and are just philosophical differences. Expressing support for affirmative action, for instance, is likely to get one in hot water, no matter how politely you phrase it.
we've gone completely M.A.D.
TIL of Aotearoa, thanks for sharing. That's a bad-ass name, NZ should switch back to that.
