  • I do, while it might not directly affect me, I care about these people. I hope it stops, and I often find mysefl sad and torn by this situation.

It's just hard when most comments here are attacking instead of educating, and while it is not their burden to educate me, it also does not help their cause to attack others (excluding trolls, racists, etc)

I try to learn as much as I can before approaching more serious topics, but this is a really complex one where there is such a long and intricate history that even though I already spent a few hours on research, it still isn't even half of it (not to mention the philosophical and moral part of it) I just didn't expect to be blasted with so much hate.

  • About as much as I trust other drivers on the road.

As in I give it the benefit of the doubt but if something seems off I take precautions while monitoring and if it seems dangerous I do my best to avoid it.

In reality it means that I rarely check it but if anything seems off I remove it and if I have the time and energy I further check the actual code.

My general approach is minimalism, so I don't use that many unknown/small projects to begin with.

  • I'll be honest, this topic has burned me out a bit so it took some time to get back to your comment. I appreciate the directness of it.

I understand the problem with an ideal solution for a non-ideal world. I am now taking more time to make a more based opinion on this subject.

I hope more people take example from you as most comments here mostly drained me from any will to continue with this issue, but yours is less confrontational and more informative.

I won't respond to your comment as right now I would rather learn more before diving back into this (understandably) explosive topic.

  • I know this is very vanilla (which I am not) but a threesome probably.

I have plenty of kinks that I have tried because I talk to my partner openly and they are very supportive and open minded.

But I only enjoy sex with people that I have a deep connection with and I am strictly monogamous (nothing against other options, just too mentally draining for me to love multiple people) so I can't really see a situation where I would have two people I have a deep connection with that is sexual, or a partner and a friend I am willing to have sex with, since I don't have many friends and I wouldn't want to complicate things by adding sex.

One possible option might be if my partner had a someone they really wanted to add and I would go with it, but I doubt I would enjoy it too much, probably just do it for my partner.

  • This. They measure these body changes and some idiots decided that these correlate perfectly with lies, but really they can correlate with plenty of things. They start with a base measurement where they ask you simple and verifiable questions such as your name, address, etc.

Here are some legitimate reasons that can get you marked as a liar:

    • Getting nervous because you are being investigated.
    • An accusatory question gets you nervous
    • Panic attack
    • Physical discomfort, can be because of a long investigation.
    • A question agitates you
    • And more

A polygraph can be useful to help uncover the truth as it can help investigators possibly find subjects that disturb you and could relate to lies.

Calling a polygraph a lie detector is ignorant, malicious, stupid, or some combination of the above.

    P. S

Good liars can fool polygraphs easily, like not even a complicated thing to learn.
