You can edit the post to remove the NSFW tag. I can't do it for you unfortunately.
So-called “colour revolutions” are an invention of infamous conspiracy theorist, and perennial presidential candidate, Lyndon LaRouche. There’s a good (quite long) video on this topic here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OFyn_KSy80 which is the fourth in a series about the Ukraine war.
Also a great primer essay on the topic of campism, which will help you understand the mindset: https://newpol.org/issue_post/internationalism-anti-imperialism-and-the-origins-of-campism/
Are you doin' ok buddy?
It seems to me we are really only arguing about the degree to which the Republicans are worse than the Democrats. You are arguing the case that the Dems are significantly more benevolent, but that's a very subjective assessment and depends what type of issues you decide to focus on. If you are more focused on international affairs and the number of brown people being killed by US manufactured weapons then there is no significant difference between the parties. If you are focused on domestic issues like health care then, sure, Obamacare is significantly better than nothing, even if it is a pale imitation of what a properly functioning health care system looks like.
When you look at the big(ger) picture, the US is governed under a plutocratic system of government whichever side is in power. The only way to have a properly functioning liberal democracy is to prevent owners of private capital from having any say in how the country is governed (so no more corporate donations, industry lobbyists, legislation written by large corporations, etc). But neither mainstream party has any intention of tackling those issues, or tackling wealth inequality. There's sadly very little policy difference between the two parties on those issues in my opinion, and I don't think it's misleading to point it out.
Correct but German’s don’t understand the concept of civil disobedience (not that i expect them to violate their laws but you get the idea now how we got WW2 atrocities)
I don't think it's just a German thing.
- Liberal perspective: our legal system may be imperfect but its important to always follow the law, because otherwise it will lead to anarchy. A good citizen always upholds the law.
- Leftist perspective: this law is fucked up and we will do everything we can to resist and refuse compliance, even if that requires being brave. A good person never complies with unjust laws.
Neoliberalism is the dominant form of liberalism not only in the US but in most of the west, so it's safe to assume that's the definition we're working with here. But here, I'll give you another example:
Look at how
Demsthe German government has treated paying customer Israel vs non-paying folks in Gaza.
I'm not sure I understand what your point is. The US has been a plutocracy for a long time. The Republican vs Democrat debate is all about to what degree that is the case. The Democrats are slightly more benevolent when they are at the head of the plutocracy, I'll grant you that.
In the context of this meme, centrist liberalism is claiming progressive credentials on the left pane, and showing its true face on the right pane. Liberalism is all about private property. So no matter what they say about caring about these issues, if you're not paying you aren't welcome. Liberal values are phony because money always trumps them. Look at how Dems treated paying customer Israel vs non-paying folks in Gaza.
What's the difference?
if the issue was the message and framing, then keep the candidate and fix the framing and message.
The problem wasn't how she said anything, it never is. The only lesson Dems ever take when they get trounced at the polls is that they need to target their messaging better. There's never any self-crit about the possibility they might need to change their policies. They just assume that an electorate who doesn't want corporate-friendly status quo politics is simply wrong, and needs to be propagandized more convincingly. E.g., 2/3 of the US population agree rich businesses and individuals need to be taxed more. But the Dems assessment seems to be that the majority of the country is wrong on that issue, and just needs to be "educated" better. Fuck meaningfully changing policies to actually address the issue.
if the issue was a career justice worker [...]
You mean a prosecutor who worked extra hard to lock up over-policed black folks in support of the US prison industrial complex? Justice worker my ass. There is no justice to be had in the US.
America was overconfident [...]
No, the Dems were overconfident that Trump would be so reprehensible they could sit on their hands, change nothing, put up a lame duck candidate at the last minute after dragging their heels for months over Biden's mental state (which was obvious to literally everyone who heard him talk) and somehow still win the election with a bunch of stale policy positions that were and are deeply unpopular.
Yes I know, for trying to unseat a few of the old guard democrats and replace them with progressive candidates. Apparently it's fine when the DNC does the same thing to incumbent progressives though.

Is this still available?
BPR/YDI. The fact you are doubling down on the shit stirring here confirms it was the right call by both mods/admins.
Could they possibly sabotage their own progressives any harder? Eh, I'm sure they'll come up with something.
Dude the Dems have never bothered courting leftist votes. We have basically nothing in common ideologically except for maybe some crossover on identity politics stuff. Now y'all want to have our support because your prosecutor status-quo DNC candidate was defeated running on imo terrible unsupportable policies no different to Biden? We don't do voting for the lesser evil. Put up an actual progressive candidate and leftists will be happy to vote for them. FYI being black or being a woman doesn't automatically mean you're progressive. That's reductive and prioritises identity politics over policy substance. You don't get to keep your neo-liberal policies and your leftist votes. Pick one or the other. And don't blame leftists because you keep making the wrong choice.
The law is an ass if you can't even make a comment to clarify the difference between anti-zionism and anti-semitism. Why even host it in a country that has such restrictions?
