I would shoot hitler twice, then bin laden, then beat meta to death with the gun because it would hurt more.
If being declined concent is going to kill your industry then maybe your industry deserved to die.
Fucking rapist mentaility right there.
Hoenstly, if youve ever seen a favourite spot or trail get absolutely overrun by instagram tourists and the general public youd understand that feeling.
Theres beautiful spots in the peak district that get so clogged up in the summer that youve got cars parked up and down every single road in a 10 mile radius.
Ive volunteered with groups that do weekly litter picks at some of these spots and trails and we'll often run out of bags.
I dont think its selfish to wish these spots just never got discovered by the public. As soon as one of these beauty spots gets big, its a losing battle against the general public and everyone who wants to make bank from them
Idk what cables and devices youve been buying but ive seen an insane difference in durability going to micro to c.
For a start, none of my usb c cables have lost their gripping strength, one of which ive been using daily for over 6 years.
None of my usb c devices have had the central pin blade thing fall off or fatige to the point of not making a connection,
The one down side ive seen to usb c is that when i accidentally rolled my chsir over a connector, it did crush the oval inwards but i pried that open again and stuck it in my desk mic and its been working fine since.
Also, lead walking! Most cats can be trained to be very receptive to lead walking especially if you start them young. Your cat still gets the enrichment from walking around outside and all the lovely smells and sights that entails but without the danger of cars or the cat killing everything is feels like.
I mean ive never tried it. Perhaps theyre onto something?
I have to second the akko v3 cream blues. Super nice tactile switch and yet somehow still significantly cheaper than the competition. By far the snappiest tactile ive laid hands on so far and yet still very smooth on the uptake. Big fan!
Yup, electronics tech here and we have to bake our boards to remove moisture from the mid-layers before conformal coating them. We do boards which go through pretty harsh conditions so moisture trapped in the boards could cause massive issues at sub zero temperature and swelling from evaporating liquids cause issues at high temperatures.
Less of a concern for consumer tech but can be a huge concern at industry levels.
Also, that photo clearly has a "candy warehouse" watermark. If the story was true, that would be a costco watermark.
Which continental model you use here is entirely irrelevant anyway because in neither model is north america referred to as just "america". The only time that just "America" is used is to refer to the union of north and south america.
There is no country of America. There is the united states of america which would make the pope a statesman. So you can have the first north american pope, the first statesman pope, or just settle for second american pope.
Hes the second American pope. America refers to both north and south america. The United States of America only referes to a part of America.
He may be the first north american pope and the first pope from the united states of america, but hes not the first american pope.
On the bright side, ill bet the smuggling business will be booming over the next few years!
Idk if its the same where you are or not but cars in my country DO have multiple internal tiedowns throughout the passenger cabin. Theyre called seatbelts and you are supposed to secure any heavy objects using them. Infact, if you as a driver have not secured heavy objects down and one of them kills or injures a passenger, you can get prosecuted for negligence.
Sure, i dont know the exact intention behind the law, and it being a fine does indeed serve as revenue stream for cops, but it does at least in part help prosecute drivers who are putting theie passengers at risk while promoting safe driving habits.
Depends on how many people are in the car doesnt it?
Yes, more of this please!
No idea why it has no stereo though. That feels like a pretty basic feature. Doesnt even need to be built in. Just iso standard head unit bay would do.
Dude, not even sofas are safe.
1 or 3. I cant stand forks with curved outer tines. 2 is good but i prefer a straight handle over a curved one. My preferance leans towards 3 though as 1 looks like it would have slightly sharp stamped edges.
If someone tries to srike up conversation with me in the toilets my first thought is that im about to be mugged
Do you take constructive criticism?
How important is it that cans are clean when i put them in the recycling.
Na, thats fair lol. Some punctuaton is definitely needed there. Took me longer than i care to admit to work it out too
Why do smokers specifically seem to be disproportionally bad for littering?
What metrics are deoderant companies using to calculate their "72hr protection" numbers?
Would you be in favour of assisted dying being introduced for terminally ill patients in your country?
How do I find organisations that support causes I want to fight for?
