Before anyone gets their hopes up, these Republicans' objection is that Trump isn't being mean enough.
It's still useful though. As long as they can't agree on specifics, the garbage won't make it through Congress. If they increase cuts to Medicare, then maybe moderates oppose it (or at least GOP members in purple districts) and it still doesn't get through... Maybe. If it does at that point, midterms will be a blood bath.
Midterms will only be a bloodbath if the Democrats improve, but they're fighting hard to stay the way they are.
I don't understand how the GOP is arguing we need to simultaneously withdraw military operations around the world, but also increase military spending. There's even already been cuts to some military programs like the cancellation of the M10 Booker light tank.
More tanks manufactured to dump in the desert to line the pockets of their donors.
There's no point looking for logic or sense. There is none.
Because there are multiple people in the GOP, obviously. They all have their own agendas.
